The conference marks the centenary anniversary of Kavala’s accession to the Greek state in July 1913. It is held under the auspices of His Excellency, the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Karolos Papoulias. It is also supported by the National Technical University of Athens, the Municipality of Kavala, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA in Athens (the Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy), the Austrian Embassy in Athens, the Embassy of Hungary in Greece, and the Swedish Institute at Athens.
